JDC Archives
Comprising the organizational records of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee—the overseas rescue, relief, and rehabilitation arm of the American Jewish community—the JDC Archives houses one of the most significant collections in the world for the study of modern Jewish history.
JDC’s website incorporates more than 100 digital stories, built with more than 3,000 photo, video, and audio assets.
JDC Archives has curated over 100 photo galleries with highlights from their extensive collections. Using Storycrafter, they invite users to help identify people in these photos. Users simply draw a box around the person they recognize and submit a form with their information. These user submissions are stored privately in a custom database within JDC Archives’ Storycrafter account.
